Origins
"Cricket!" was inspired by a call for new comic strips in the student newspaper where I go to school. While the first comic was not completed on time for the paper, I was already in love with the concept and the character of Cricket and decided to continue drawing and writing it in my spare time.Focus
"Cricket!" for now, is a humor-based comic centered around entomological jokes. I'll try to keep the jokes accessible for everyone, though. However, if I'm fortunate enough to continue the strip for an extended period of time, I plan to expand it to a more character-focused story that centers around Cricket and her relationships with the extended cast of the comic.Promise/Contract to the readers
While I can hope to improve with time, I recognize that my skills in humor, drawing, and writing have a ways to go, yet. However, my promise to those who choose to return week after week is that I will do my best to bring you the best quality comic I can provide as frequently as I can provide it.
